✶ The Inner Architecture of Union

Within the sacred chamber of your heart lies the most vital and eternal flame of your being—the threefold flame of divine love, wisdom, and power. This flame, though unseen to the physical eye, is the living presence of God anchored in you, a spark of the I AM that links your soul to the Infinite. Surrounding this flame is the heart chakra, a radiant lotus of twelve petals, each resonating with a specific frequency of the Christ consciousness. These petals are actual currents of divine energy, faculties of soul expression, and gateways to spiritual mastery.

The practice that follows is a sacred transmission from Ascended Master Djwal Khul, who offers not merely inspiration, but a precise ritual for spiritual transformation. Djwal Khul, often called The Tibetan Master, is revered as a master of wisdom, occult science, and meditation. Known to many through his work with the Theosophical Society and the transmissions given to Alice Bailey, Djwal Khul has long served both Eastern and Western students of the Light. In his later dictations through Elizabeth Clare Prophet, he reveals himself as a spiritual architect—one who works with the inner geometries of the soul, the subtle flows of divine energy, and the science of self-realization. In this particular teaching, he unveils what he calls a cosmic science: the merging of Spirit and Matter through the heart chakra, accomplished by means of sacred symbols, mantras, and decrees. This is not metaphysical theory—it is living spiritual technology, grounded in the fire of the Christ consciousness and delivered with the authority of one who has walked the path before us.

This meditation centers on a sacred visualization: two interlaced triangles. The first rises from your own heart—an ascending triangle that represents your soul’s devotion and striving toward God. The second descends from above—a golden triangle of divine presence and grace. When these two energies meet in the heart, they form the six-pointed star, an ancient seal of divine union, known in esoteric tradition as the Star of David or the Seal of Solomon. It is a symbol not only of union but of transformation: the alchemy that occurs when your Holy Christ Self, the inner mediator between your soul and your I AM Presence, brings Spirit and Matter into harmony within your own being.

To speak the name of God—I AM THAT I AM[1]—is to ignite this flame, to claim your divine inheritance, and to activate the heart center as a living altar. With every chant, with every decree, you draw divine energy into your auric field and distribute it into the four lower bodies. As you anchor the twelve God-qualities into the twelve petals of your heart chakra, your soul is prepared to radiate the light of the Christ. This is not imagination; it is invocation. It is the act of a conscious being calling down the fire of heaven into the temple of the heart.

In time, and with devotion, this practice will begin to repattern your energy field, refine the substance of your aura, and expand your capacity to carry light. It will help you hold spiritual balance in daily life. It will attune you more clearly to the guidance of your Christ Self and draw to you the assistance of angelic beings, masters of light, and the protecting Presence of God. Your aura, once refined by this ritual, becomes a chalice—a radiating forcefield through which divine love, healing, and blessing can flow to the world.

This is the fulfillment of the ancient promise: “Draw nigh to me, and I will draw nigh to you.” You lift your soul toward God in love and service, and He responds—pouring His Presence into the chalice of your being. The heart becomes the meeting place. The threefold flame becomes the altar. The six-pointed star becomes the seal. And you, beloved, become the bridge between worlds.

“You can become only that which you already are.”
— Beloved Djwal Khul

What This Practice Accomplishes

This meditation is a living key that:

  • Centers you in your Holy Christ Self, the mediator between God and man
  • Activates the threefold flame of God-Power (blue), God-Wisdom (gold), and God-Love (pink)
  • Visualizes the interlaced triangles, forming the six-pointed star—the geometry of Christ union
  • Awakens the twelve petals of the heart chakra and their corresponding divine virtues
  • Expands your aura, aligning you with the pattern of your Higher Self
  • Fulfills the biblical law: “Draw nigh to me, and I will draw nigh to you”

By repeating this practice with devotion and focus, your aura gradually becomes a vessel for divine consciousness, and your life begins to reflect the virtues of the Christ—radiating healing, grace, and illumination to all.

[1] Exodus 3:13–14 (KJV):

13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

✶ Understanding the Sacred Tools

Before beginning, you must understand the core metaphysical tools you will be working with in this ritual:

  1. The Threefold Flame

At the innermost point of your heart lies the threefold flame—your divine spark, your eternal connection to the I AM Presence. It consists of three plumes:

  • Blue Flame of God’s Will and Power (left)
  • Golden Flame of Illumination and Wisdom (center)
  • Pink Flame of Divine Love (right)

This flame is the living consciousness of Christ within you. When it is balanced and expanded, it becomes the throne of your inner divinity and the anchor of your ascension.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 2:5
In metaphysical terms, this mind is your Holy Christ Self, and it is centered in the heart.

  1. The Interlaced Triangles: Ascending and Descending

Djwal Khul reveals that the merging of God and man follows a sacred geometry:

  • The ascending triangle symbolizes the upward striving of the soul through spiritual devotion, right action, and meditation.
  • The descending triangle represents the outpouring of God’s light, love, and Presence in response to that devotion.

When they merge in the heart, they form the six-pointed star, also known as the Star of David or Seal of Solomon—a symbol of the Christ union, the divine mediation of Spirit and Matter. This configuration is not symbolic alone—it is energetic, and it can be felt when rightly visualized.

  1. The Twelve-Petaled Heart Chakra

Surrounding the threefold flame is the heart chakra, composed of twelve petals, or spiritual frequencies. These petals represent twelve divine qualities, which the Christ must embody to serve God fully and love creation rightly. The practice brings these twelve virtues into focus and invocation.

The twelve God-qualities are:

  1. God-Power
  2. God-Love
  3. God-Mastery
  4. God-Control
  5. God-Obedience
  6. God-Wisdom
  7. God-Harmony
  8. God-Gratitude
  9. God-Justice
  10. God-Reality
  11. God-Vision
  12. God-Victory

These are the frequencies to be magnetized into your being, becoming part of your aura and your expression in life.

  1. The Name of God: I AM THAT I AM

This practice centers around the sacred name:
“I AM THAT I AM” —the name revealed to Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 3:14).

When you speak this name, you are not speaking about God as something separate. You are identifying with the Presence of God within you. It is the most powerful affirmation of your divine origin and destiny.

You will repeat this sacred name multiple times throughout the meditation, activating the flame within and sealing it with divine fire.

What to Expect Spiritually

As you enter this practice:

  • You may feel a burning or tingling sensation in the chest, as energy gathers around the heart.
  • You may feel an expansion of your aura, or emotional release as the heart opens.
  • You may receive inner impressions, colors, visions, or an increased awareness of divine presence.
  • You may not feel anything at first—but the momentum builds over time, like fire gradually catching.

This is a progressive path. Every repetition of this ritual strengthens the Christ within and enlarges your capacity to embody your divine mission.

How Often to Practice

Ideally, begin this practice daily or weekly, particularly when:

  • You feel spiritually scattered, drained, or disconnected
  • You need to re-center in divine peace, truth, and love
  • You are seeking guidance or facing emotional challenge
  • You are preparing for healing, prayer work, or spiritual service
  • You desire to anchor more light into the world

You may use a shortened form for daily centering, and the full ritual on Sundays or holy days.

How to Prepare Before Starting

Create sacred space:

  • Light a candle or burn sacred incense (like sandalwood or frankincense)
  • Purify your body and mind—breathe deeply, stretch, pray
  • Place your hands over your heart or in prayer position

Say silently or aloud:

“Beloved I AM Presence, beloved Holy Christ Self,
I dedicate this space and this body as a temple of light.
Let this practice be sealed in the flame of divine love.
I invite the full Presence of God to awaken in my heart.
I AM THAT I AM.”

Then begin the meditation step by step as follows.

✶ The Interlaced Triangles and the Sacred Heart Chakra Activation

A Full Teaching and Practice from Beloved Djwal Khul

Purpose:

To awaken and expand the Christ consciousness through the sacred geometry of the six-pointed star, activate the threefold flame in the heart, and anchor the twelve God-qualities into the twelve petals of the heart chakra.

Preparation

Posture: Sit upright, spine straight, in a meditative position. Place your hands over your heart or in a prayer position.

Breath: Breathe deeply and rhythmically, inhaling peace, exhaling tension.

Inner Attitude: Devotion, reverence, and receptivity to the Divine.

Step 1: Centering in the Heart

Affirmation of Approach:

“Draw nigh to me, and I will draw nigh to you.”
(Repeat slowly three times.)

Silently place your attention on your heart chakra, just at the center of your chest. Visualize a soft, radiant sphere of light beginning to glow there.

Step 2: Visualization of the Threefold Flame

Inside your heart, see a sacred trinity of flames:

  • A blue plume on the left – representing God’s Will and Power
  • A golden-yellow plume in the center – representing Illumination and Wisdom
  • A pink plume on the right – representing Divine Love

Say aloud:

“I AM the threefold flame of God, blazing in the secret chamber of my heart.
I AM Love. I AM Wisdom. I AM Power.
Balanced in the heart of Christ.”

Sit in stillness for a few moments, letting these flames grow until they are steady and radiant within your chest.

Step 3: Visualize the Interlaced Triangles (Six-Pointed Star)

Now imagine:

  1. An ascending triangle of white light rising from your heart, representing your soul reaching up to God.
  2. A descending triangle of golden light entering your heart from above, representing divine energy coming to meet you.

These two triangles interlace, forming a six-pointed star within your heart chakra. This is the symbol of Christ union—the merging of divine and human through the Christ Self.

Say aloud with authority:

“I AM THAT I AM. I AM THAT I AM. I AM THAT I AM.”

Repeat this chant slowly 9x or more, visualizing each word as a living flame sealing itself into the six-pointed star.

Step 4: Activate the Twelve Petals of the Heart Chakra

Visualize twelve luminous petals of light opening around the six-pointed star, forming a radiant lotus within your heart. Each petal carries a virtue of the Christ.

Chant the sacred name “I AM THAT I AM” to call forth the following twelve divine qualities, one for each petal:

  1. God-Power
  2. God-Love
  3. God-Mastery
  4. God-Control
  5. God-Obedience
  6. God-Wisdom
  7. God-Harmony
  8. God-Gratitude
  9. God-Justice
  10. God-Reality
  11. God-Vision
  12. God-Victory

Use this invocation:

“In the name of my beloved I AM Presence,
and my Holy Christ Self,
I call for the full radiation and manifestation
of the twelve God-qualities within my heart chakra.
Anchor them now into the twelve petals of light.
Let them radiate from me to all life.”

As you name each virtue, visualize the corresponding petal lighting up in sacred fire.

Repeat chant between each set of three:

“I AM THAT I AM.” (3x)

You may also alternate with:

“AUM” (3x) – the sacred syllable of divine vibration

Step 5: Decree for Balancing the Threefold Flame

Now decree aloud with faith and command:

Primary Decree:

“Balance the threefold flame in me! (3x)
Beloved I AM!
Balance the threefold flame in me! (3x)
Take thy command!
Balance the threefold flame in me! (3x)
Magnify it each hour!
Balance the threefold flame in me! (3x)
Love, Wisdom, and Power!”

Repeat 4 full times, substituting the verb each time:

  1. Blaze the threefold flame in me!
  2. Expand the threefold flame in me!
  3. Intensify the threefold flame in me!

Final sealing line:

“And in full faith I consciously accept this manifest, manifest, manifest! (3x)
Right here and now with full power,
Eternally sustained,
All-powerfully active,
Ever expanding,
And world enfolding
Until all are wholly ascended in the Light and free!
Beloved I AM! Beloved I AM! Beloved I AM!”

Closing Affirmation and Benediction

Say with inner conviction:

“I AM the light of the world.
I AM the heart of Christ in manifestation.
I AM the flame in the center and the circumference
Of the sacred fire of the heart.
So let it be, by God’s holy name.”

Visualize your aura expanding as a radiant balloon of light, filled with the divine energy streaming from your seven chakras—especially the heart. This is your light body. This is your Christ presence in action.

Final Prayer from Djwal Khul’s Message

“So now, my beloved in Christ,
My gift of love, a cup of light,
A cup of illumination rare,
I bring to you as holy prayer.
It is my prayer that you become
The fullness of His glory.
It is God’s prayer
That His energy we share.
So, my beloved,
Let it be your prayer
That Almighty God will be there
As virtue flowing, as light all-knowing
In the center and the circumference
Of the sacred center,
Sacred fire of the heart.”

Daily Integration

You may perform this practice daily—or weekly—especially when:

  • You need to reconnect to your divine purpose
  • You feel spiritually drained or off-center
  • You seek to expand your aura or draw down divine presence
  • You wish to strengthen Christ consciousness within

Even a shortened version (Steps 1, 2, 4 + Decree) can serve as a potent morning alignment ritual.
